BCG Matrix is one of the most important and one of the most essential thing to study.To be a management student it is most essential to me.So today I am going to talk about BCG Matrix. So , let's start
Boston Consulting Group invented BCG Matrix for the purpose of analysing a company's current market situation.So , I will discuss about the BCG Matrix briefly.
BCG Matrix have four components.               
       1. Star                   2. Question mark.

     
       3. Cash cow          4. Dog

1.Star is a situation where market growth is high and market share is also high.It means that a company have some fantastic products. The future demand of the products are high.So the market growth rate is high.The products have also its large market share today.

2.Question mark is a situation where market growth is high but presently dont have enough market share.

3.Cash cow is a situation where market growth rate is low but present market share is high.Due to new product innovation the future demand of the products are decrising quickly.

4. Dog is a situation where both market share and market growth are low because  of market saturation.In future there are no demand for those product.

So, my suggestion is to invest money on star stage product and question mark stage product because they have future market share.Earn today from cash cow and will invest the money on star and question mark stage products which you earned from cash cow. No money invested for dog stage products because of market saturation.
